Kat is betrayed in the worst way

Skeem Saam is one of the soapies that depicts our day-to-day life and daily challenges. Backstabbing happens in everyday life.

Kat was eager for the cookbook to be released because he had no idea that he is not included in the book. After everything he has done, fighting for this book and this is the thanks he gets.

Kat did most of the work yet he is completely cut out of the deal. Candice acts like she made it alone. They gave Candice credit for Kat’s work and this is just unfair.

Only if Paddy knew that Kat is more talented than Candice she wouldn’t be sidelining him like this. She has judged Kat before giving him a chance to prove himself.

Skeem Saam is showing us that there are people who are not judged based on talent but are judged based on who they are when it comes to their gender, race and even nationality which is wrong. And Mapitsi did what most black people do to their families and friends.

The storyline is trying to warn us about people we call friends. Kat would move mountains to make sure that Mapitsi is alright. Even when Candice wanted nothing to do with the book he stood by her. In the end, they betrayed him in the worst way. This situation will surely change him, it will change him for the good or bad.
