RECRUITMENT OF UNEMPLOYED YOUTH FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL YOUTH EMPLOYMENT INITIATIVE

GET YOUR DOCUMENTS READY!

Those shortlisted for an interview at a school (these are not “successful applicants” but rather shortlisted applicants) will be contacted by the relevant school to invite them to an interview. Schools will start calling from the third/fourth week of November.

The school will be in touch with you either by SMS or call so please keep your phone on you.

 

If a school calls you for an interview, you will need to take these documents with you:
• Certified copy of your ID/passport
• CV (download a template to help you write your CV:

 

• Testimonial letter* from your former school teacher, your local chief or church leader.(here are steps you can follow to get feedback from the people you helped/volunteered or worked for:
• Certified copy of your matric certificate and of your highest qualification (if you have one)
NOTE: matric is not a requirement for the GSA roles

Additional vetting against the National Register of Sexual Offenders (NRSO) will be required.

 

If you do not hear from a school by 1st December please consider your application unsuccessful, please keep searching and applying for other opportunities through sayouth.mobi.
