About the Position:
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors to the winery/tasting rooms, providing a delightful wine-tasting experience.
Assist in organizing and executing hospitality special events.
Represent the brand at external functions when required.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of William Church and Cuillin Hills wineries and their diverse wine offerings.
Ensure the cleanliness and appealing appearance of all facilities.
Create a warm and memorable experience for guests, fostering brand loyalty.
Assist with the display and stocking of retail items and wines.
Collaborate with other departments as needed, performing various duties.
Describe wine club options, promoting and securing tastings, glass pours, bottle sales, and memberships.
Provide general tourist information to enhance the overall customer experience.
Conduct routine sales transactions using the OrderPort point-of-sale system, accurately accounting for daily sales.
Desired Qualification Level:
Grade 12/Matric
Requirements:
Previous tasting room experience is advantageous.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Familiarity with wine offerings and a passion for the wine industry.
Proficiency in handling routine sales transactions using point-of-sale systems.
