Purpose Statement

To provide support to the Divisional Executive: Credit Management, the senior management team, and the respective business unit, performing office management and general administration duties to optimize efficiency and allow their focus on strategic and business-critical tasks.

Introduction

Are you an organized and proactive professional with a passion for supporting senior leaders? We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Assistant to collaborate with our Credit: Retail Executive and Credit: Retail leadership teams to contribute to the success of our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Work closely with the Group Executive and Leadership teams to provide seamless administrative support, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Calendar Management: Master the art of calendar coordination, scheduling meetings, and managing priorities to optimize leadership team productivity.
  • Communication Guru: Act as a primary point of contact, handling emails, calls, and inquiries with professionalism, confidentiality, and kindness.
  • Travel Logistics: Organize and coordinate complex travel itineraries, accommodation, and logistics for the team’s business trips.
  • Meeting Preparation: Support in preparing agendas, presentations, and documentation for meetings. Ensure that the executive is well-prepared and informed.
  • Team Support: Provide people support through planning of team builds, Town Hall sessions, and department conferences. Act as a liaison for HR and IT tasks.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role (5 years+).
  • General business/commercial understanding.
  • Basic budgeting and payment principles and processes.
  • Experience in external vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to engage at an Executive level.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills with a true passion for people and customer experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
  • A Grade 12 National Certificate with a post-Matric qualification.
