Cashbuild is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier in Khayelitsha. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately handling all Point of Sale (POS) transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a secure and efficient checkout process
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process POS transactions, handle cash, and maintain a balanced float
- Ensure goods are correctly identified and captured on the POS terminal
- Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to customers
- Maintain accurate records and compile relevant documentation
- Adhere to safety and security protocols, including OHSA compliance and system password control
Requirements
- Grade 12 or minimum of 1 year work-related experience
- Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area
- Basic calculation skills and strong administration skills
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work under pressure
