Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Handle customer inquiries and store card applications efficiently, ensuring all correspondence is addressed promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and prevent backlogs.
- Verification: Telephonically confirm employment and personal details to verify the information provided on store application forms, maintaining the integrity of our customer data.
- Data Management: Update customer information in relevant debtor systems to ensure our database is accurate and up-to-date.
- Application Processing: Process store card applications across all divisions, contributing to the growth of our customer and credit base (for outbound agents only).
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: A Grade 12 certificate is essential.
- Experience: Previous call centre experience in a new accounts environment is required, ensuring you are familiar with the demands of the role.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of industry legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, POPI (Protection of Personal Information Act), National Credit Act, and ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa), is crucial.
