Purpose of Position
As a friendly team player, your responsibilities will include promoting sales, minimizing stock losses, managing inventory, assisting customers, operating the cash register, and maintaining a low-cost culture to meet business objectives. Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and safe store environment to reduce losses, adhering to security and handling procedures.
- Manage the cash register in accordance with company policies and keep the store organized.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance store efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Engage with customers, suggest additional products, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and inform them about current sales and promotions.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in finding their desired items.
- Greet customers upon entry and offer assistance.
- Achieve sales goals and stay updated on new products.
- Assist with stock ordering and store presentation.
- Receive, organize, and manage deliveries.
- Ensure accurate payment processing using the cash register.
- Stay informed about product changes and features.

Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Previous experience in cashier roles, customer service, or sales.
- Reside within 15 km of the job location.
- Clear criminal record.
Preferences
- South African candidates.
- Proficiency in English.
- Computer literacy.
- A passion for retail to provide an exceptional customer experience.
