Fidelity Services Group is seeking Armed Response Officers to join our dedicated team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a permanent position within our Fidelity ADT division, aimed at enhancing safety and security for our clients in the region.
Job Overview
As an Armed Response Officer, you will play a crucial role in responding to security alarms and emergencies, ensuring the protection of people and property. You will be part of a highly trained team that specializes in delivering state-of-the-art security solutions, including advanced alarm systems and CCTV surveillance.
Key Responsibilities
Respond swiftly and professionally to security incidents and alarms.
Conduct thorough assessments of emergency situations and implement appropriate response protocols.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and ongoing risks.
Maintain high levels of physical fitness to manage the demands of the job effectively.
Engage in ongoing training related to weapons handling and tactical response.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Minimum Grade 10.
Certification: Grade C PSIRA certification is mandatory.
Licenses: A valid driver’s license is required.
Competency: Firearm Competency for Handgun for Business Purposes.
Background: No criminal record; candidates will undergo background checks.
Health: Must be physically fit and in good health, capable of handling the physical demands of the role.
Location: Candidates must reside in or around Cape Town.
